At RollingBarge.com we build a line of floating utility trailers that can carry up to 5000 lbs over the highway, down the launch ramp, and on the water.
With a trailing width of 8.5' and a deck height less than 40", these trailers are easy to load, easy to tow, and do not require any special permits on the highway or the water.
We build Amphibious Trailers in many sizes for many applications. Below are some examples of our work. If you don't see what you want, let us know and our engineers would be happy to create a custom design for you.
- Ferry a car or truck across a lake or river.
- Quickly haul tools and building materials to a “water access only” construction site.
- Drilling Platform for core samples in ponds and lakes.
- ATV Hauler that can barge you across a lake or river to the prime riding our hunting ground.
- Hauling camping gear to your island getaway.
- PWC trailer that becomes a pontoon boat once the PWCs are launched.
- Let your imagination run wild…

Intake Screens, Inc. used a Rolling Barge to assist with the installation of a self-cleaning intake screen in the Willamette River near Portland, Oregon. We loaded over 2000 lbs of equipment and tools on the barge and drove it upstream about 1 mile. We used the 1000lb davit crane provided by with the Rolling Barge to set our base, our support piles, and our screen in place. This set-up worked very well for our type of in-water work, which consists of components that are too large to handle and a site that was inaccessible by crane. The barge worked great and there was lots of space on the deck for our tools. - Russell Berry - Intake Screens, Inc.

Let's Go Crabbing!
We took three families crabbing off the coast of Oregon on a mid-size Rolling Barge. We cooked the crab right on the barge. Check out our catch:
